Service Opportunities

This page lists service opportunities in Santa Clara Valley AFG Intergroup. Al-Anon is fully self-supporting and accepts service donations only from its members. The only requirement for membership is a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Service is a great way to make new friends and to give back some of the recovery that we have received from Al-Anon.

Alateen and preteen sponsors are needed one to two Fridays a month at the Friday Willow Vale Community Church meetings. (These meetings were previously at St. Christopher's Church.) For more information, please call the office at (408) 379- 9375.

The Al-Anon bookstore needs volunteers. Even if you can work only one day a month, that would be helpful. For the bookstore hours and location, please visit Office and Literature Sale Hours.
